Vinci Technology Corporation was incorporated in Michigan in February of 2009. The company is currently led by Allen Roche and Dr. Tsung-Yu Pan who formerly worked at Ford Motor Company. Together, they have over 50 years of combined R&D, technology transfer and product development experience.
Vinci’s focus is on developing and commercializing new, advanced materials and manufacturing technologies. The core competencies of Vinci include materials processing, product development, technology transfer, and creative innovations in the fields of materials processing and advanced materials. Vinci has twice been awarded Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grants from National Science Foundation (NSF), both related to the manufacturing of nanocomposites.
Vinci Technology has approximate 1,000 sq ft of office and lab space, comprising metallographic preparation and analysis equipment and extensive sample preparation tools. In addition, Vinci has strategic partnerships with both the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. Those partnership provide access to a variety of state-of-the-art materials processing and characterization facilities.
